Overview

SendTemps ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

SendTemps does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter (crag settings, profile preferences, notification settings) is stored locally on your device only.

What We Don't Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or advertising identifiers

Location Data

Location is used solely to fetch weather data from Open-Meteo for your crag's friction score. We do not store, log, or transmit location data to any server. All app data is stored locally on your device. You may also enter your crag location manually without granting location permission.

Local Storage

The app stores your crag settings, profile data (rubber type, sweat level, units), and notification preferences locally on your device using Hive (local database). This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored data.

Weather Data

The app fetches weather data from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) using your crag's coordinates. Open-Meteo is an open-source weather API. No personally identifiable information is sent in these requests.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Push Notifications

The app uses local notifications only (scheduled on your device) for daily send temps alerts and dry-out ready reminders. No data is sent to any push notification server. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's settings.

Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous transaction data as described in their privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared.
• Open-Meteo: Weather data provider. Requests include crag coordinates only. See Open-Meteo terms.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
