LensCast ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

LensCast does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter (lens type, sensitivity, allergy settings, wear time preferences, notification settings) is stored locally on your device only.

Location Data

LensCast uses your approximate location solely to fetch local weather and pollen data from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). We do not store, log, or transmit your location data. Location is used only in the moment of the weather request and is not retained. If you deny location access, you can manually enter a city name instead.

What We Don't Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No health or medical data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or advertising identifiers
• No persistent location history

Local Storage

The app stores your lens preferences, sensitivity settings, allergy selections, comfort history, and notification preferences locally on your device using Hive (local database). This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored data.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Push Notifications

The app uses local notifications only (scheduled on your device) for morning forecast alerts. No data is sent to any push notification server. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's settings.

Third-Party Services

• Open-Meteo: Used to fetch weather and pollen data. No personal data is sent — only your location coordinates at request time. See their terms.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous transaction data as described in their privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
