Lens Fungus Guard ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

Lens Fungus Guard does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter (gear profiles, storage settings, action logs, notification preferences) is stored locally on your device only.

Location Data

The app uses your approximate location solely to fetch local humidity and temperature data from a public weather API (Open-Meteo), which powers the fungus-risk estimate. Your coordinates are used only for that request and are never stored, logged, or transmitted to our servers. You can also enter humidity manually instead of granting location access. Location access can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

What We Don't Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No stored or tracked location history
• No health or medical data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or advertising identifiers

Local Storage

The app stores your gear profiles, storage settings, exposure history, and notification preferences locally on your device using Hive (local database). This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored data.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Push Notifications

The app uses local notifications only (scheduled on your device) for high-humidity alerts and desiccant recharge reminders. No data is sent to any push notification server. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's settings.

Third-Party Services

• Open-Meteo: Used to fetch weather data for your location. Requests are subject to their terms. Only the coordinates needed for the forecast request are sent, and nothing is stored on our side.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous transaction data as described in their privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
