Paint Weather ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

Paint Weather does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter (projects, paint profiles, siding and color choices, unit and notification settings) is stored locally on your device only.

Location Data

The app uses your approximate location solely to fetch the local weather forecast from a public weather API. Your coordinates are used at the moment of the request and are not stored, logged, or transmitted to our servers. You can also enter a location manually instead of allowing device location.

What We Don't Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No stored location history
• No health or medical data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or advertising identifiers

Local Storage

The app stores your projects, paint profiles, cached forecast data, and preferences locally on your device using Hive (local database). This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored data.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Push Notifications

The app uses local notifications only (scheduled on your device) for condition-change alerts. No data is sent to any push notification server. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's settings.

Third-Party Services

• Weather data provider: The app requests forecast data for your location from a public weather API. Only the coordinates needed for the request are sent, and they are not stored.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous transaction data as described in their privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
