Pigeon Toss ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

Pigeon Toss does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter (lofts, release points, bird groups, toss logs, notification settings) is stored locally on your device only.

Location Data

The app uses your approximate location solely to fetch local weather and sunset data from Open-Meteo, so it can calculate your release verdict. We do not store, log, or transmit your location data to any server. You may also enter a location manually instead of allowing location access.

What We Don't Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No stored or server-side location history
• No health or medical data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or advertising identifiers

Local Storage

The app stores your lofts, release points, toss logs, and preferences locally on your device using Hive (a local database). This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored data.

In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Push Notifications

The app uses local notifications only (scheduled on your device) for release-window reminders. No data is sent to any push notification server. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's settings.

Third-Party Services

• Open-Meteo: Used to fetch weather and sunset data for your location. Requests are made with coordinates only and are not tied to any identity. See their terms.
• RevenueCat: Used for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous transaction data as described in their privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
